Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Rights: A Human Rights Perspective

Apr 01, 2000

Published jointly by the Human Rights Resource Center, GLSEN and Amnesty International, this curriculum guide includes 9 lessons that set the struggle for LGBT rights in a human rights perspective. Using the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as a standard, the lesson plans take students from a gay-straight alliance in Salt Lake City to a prison in Romania in order to better understand the issues confronting LGBT people in today’s world.
