Jump-Start student leaders, Kevin Jennings appear on Mike and Juliet Show

Jul 29, 2008

Three members of GLSEN’s Jump-Start National Student Leadership team and GLSEN Executive Director Kevin Jennings appeared on this morning’s The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet on FOX to discuss LGBT youth coming out in middle school.

Layne, Leah and Tyler all endured bullying and harassment in middle school because of their sexual orientation. More than 4 out of 5 LGBT youth experience harassment every year, according to GLSEN’s 2005 National School Climate Survey.
