 |
Marilyn and Jeffrey Katzenberg are well renowned for the boundless energy they put into every endeavor they undertake. A former grade‑school teacher, Marilyn has actively supported efforts to improve the quality of healthcare and education. Jeffrey is the Chief Executive Officer of DreamWorks Animation. Together, they provide immeasurable support and lead fundraising efforts on behalf of many local, national and international organizations. Marilyn and Jeffrey have been longtime supporters of the LGBT community, and share a strong commitment to overcoming prejudice and intolerance through their philanthropic work. |

Simon Halls & Matt Bomer |
 |
Simon Halls and Matt Bomer are known for their commitment to family and causes they care for, including GLSEN. An accomplished actor, Matt currently stars as Neal Caffrey on USA's critically acclaimed show White Collar and recently starred on the big screen in Magic Mike. Simon is a well-respected entertainment professional who is one of the chief publicists at Slate PR representing an A-list client roster. Matt and Simon live in Los Angeles with their three sons: Kit, Walker and Henry. |

Bob & Harvey Weinstein |
 |
| Bob and Harvey Weinstein launched their multi-media company, The Weinstein Company, in 2005 after leaving Miramax Films, which they co-founded in 1979. Their films have received 303 Oscar nominations since that time, and have won a total of 75 Academy Awards. This year the brothers will be honored with the prestigious Chairman's Award for their critical role in distributing the groundbreaking documentary Bully, which has brought unprecedented national attention to the bullying epidemic within K-12 schools, and has helped amplify the conversation central to GLSEN's mission to create safe and affirming schools for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. |

After a nationwide search, GLSEN will present the 2012 Student Advocate of the Year. This award recognizes a student who has advanced LGBT equality in their school or community, working to ensure that all students are safe and free of bullying, name-calling and harassment.
