Dealing with Difference: Opening Dialogue about Lesbian, Gay & Straight Issues

Oct 17, 2002

Announcing the special introductory price of $99.95 (a $40 savings) for this groundbreaking video and print curriculum package produced by Human Relations Media and GLSEN!

As schools work to reduce bullying and create safer climates for all, many educators are increasingly concerned about discrimination and harassment leveled against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) students. This video and print curriculum package is designed to foster healthy classroom dialogue around LGBT issues while informing everyone of the serious effects anti-LGBT harassment and bullying can have on all students. A mixture of dramatic vignettes and real teen discussion (including some GLSEN student organizers!) will encourage students to look at their own behavior as well at that of their peers. With over 80% of LGBT youth reporting verbal, sexual or physical harassment in schools, this video promises to be a useful tool in creating a safe and affirming school environment for all.

Please Note: For a limited time, all orders of Dealing With Difference will be fulfilled directly by GLSEN. Click on the blue PDF button in the upper right corner to download the order form.
