GLSEN Connecticut's Student Organizing Team

Our team's main goals are:
  • To educate students and the community about LGBTQ issues in schools
  • Empower them to create social change through peer education, student leadership, and safe schools organizing.

Our team accomplishes these goals by facilitating a series of student-designed and led workshops at the annual True Colors Conference. Student leaders also engage in community outreach by tabling and guest speaking at various schools and conferences throughout the state about their efforts to make schools safer for ALL students.
