GLSEN NYCR Youthpride
Who are we?
YouthPride is a student led meeting that centers around helping LGBTQ students and allied students discuss matters in our community, schools, and in their Gay Straight Alliances (GSAs) that they have in their schools. YouthPride provides leadership development and an opportunity to help plan activities around GLSEN’s Days of Action and Days of Support.
When do we meet?
YouthPride meets every first Wednesday of the month (October through May) from 6 to 8 pm.
We meet at rotating locations around the 8 counties our chapter serves, please see meeting dates below or flyer for complete details for where we'll be next!
Where are the meetings?
Albany Meetings held at the Delaware Avenue Public Library (303 Delaware Ave, Albany)
Troy Meetings held at the Troy Public Library (100 2nd St, Troy)
Niskayuna Meetings held at the Niskayuna Public Library 2400 Nott St E, Niskayuna)
Clifton Park Meetings held at the Clifton Park-Half Moon Public Library (245 Moe Rd, Clifton Park)

YouthPride is open to all students, especially those who would like to make a difference in our community and help create a safer environment in our schools regardless of race, gender, and sexual orientation. YouthPride also sponsors events and safe spaces for all youth in our community and is easy to join while costing the students nothing.
