GLSEN Executive Director, Dr. Eliza Byard, issued a statement following this afternoon’s vote by the U.S. Senate on the Student Non-Discrimination Act (SNDA) as an amendment to the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
GLSEN’s Executive Director, Dr. Eliza Byard, applauded the decision handed down today by the Supreme Court of the United States in the case of Obergefell v. Hodges, granting same-sex couples the right to marry in all states.

GLSEN has teamed up with long-time partner, Todo Mejora Foundation in Chile, to adapt one of its most important educational resources into Spanish for educators in Latin America.
