>On Wednesday, June 29th, five GLSEN student advocates attended the second annual LGBT Pride Reception at the White House. These Jump-Start Coordinators, coming from various areas of the country, got the chance to share their stories of anti-LGBT bullying with top government officials, including the President Obama and Vice President Biden. While there, students had the chance to advocate for the Safe Schools Improvement Act and the Student Non-Discrimination Act, two bills that are currently in Congress.
