GLSEN Northeast Ohio is very excited to present our new fall conference for high school students that will take place during the academic school day on Monday, October 9.  For the past 10 years we have been able to offer an annual conference, but always on a Saturday. This year we will team up with the Game Change Conference at Kent State University in order to host a GSA leadership conference.  The Game Change Conference has provided a place for professionals to come together to learn about and discuss the latest in LGBTQ issues for the past four years.

We are welcoming high school GSAs, or like-minded clubs, to participate with teams of up to 10 students with 1 to 2 adult chaperones.  Space is limited to 100 student participants.  The cost for this event is only $5 per person and GLSEN Northeast Ohio will pay the additional costs per person. This price will include a light breakfast and lunch.

Below is a description of what we are planning for the day. We hope that you, as advisors and your administration, will find value in this leadership opportunity which will also include discussions about college life for LGBTQ students and allies while visiting Kent State University’s campus.
