Youth Pride Drop-Space at Professor Java's

Join GLSEN of the Capital Region's Youth Pride Drop-In Space! Meet other LGBTQ youth across the Capital District every first and third Friday of every month! (Excluding May 18th and June 3rd) We will meet at Professor Java's Coffee Sanctuary from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.  Light refreshments and drinks will be provided. Join us!

Love, Simon Movie Night in Saratoga- March 25th

Join us Sunday, March 25th as we partner with Whispering Angels for a special screening of Love, Simon. This event is open to high school students across the Capital Region and interested friends and families. The screening will be followed by light refreshments at Sinclair's restaurant. Admission is free.

Breaking the Silence Rally- April 27 

Friday, April 27th, 2018 is the 16th local observance of the Day of Silence, a student-led national event where folks take a vow of silence to highlight the silencing and erasure of LGBTQ people at school. The first Day of Silence was held on the campus of the University of Virginia in 1996 and has grown to become the single largest student-led protest in the world creating safer schools for ALL students regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.This event is free and open to students across the Capital Region. Refreshments will be served.

Queer Straight Alliance (QSA) - May 18 – 20  

Retreat Happens in May at Camp Unirondack, Lowville, NY 

The Queer-Straight Alliance Retreat (formerly, Gay-Straight Alliance Retreat), is a weekend designed to bring together LGBTQ young people, straight allies, community organizers and school staff. The weekend offers a place for young people connect with one another, share their voices, develop friendships work together towards LGBTQ justice. Unirondack staff, community educators and trainers will be offering games, activities and workshops that will help participants develop their leadership skills and address LGBTQ issues in their community.
