Rainbow Tassels 2017
Congrats to Graduating GSA Seniors!
GLSEN Washington State wants to award a FREE RAINBOW TASSEL and CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT to every Washington State high school graduating senior who has participated in a Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA, a school club which works to reduce anti-LGBT harassment in schools).
These rainbow tassels and personalized certificates are either presented in person by one of GLSEN's representatives or mailed to each student’s GSA faculty advisor for presentation prior to graduation.
If you are scheduled to graduate in 2017, actively participated in a GSA or similar activities, and are interested in receiving a tassel and certificate, please sign up here.
If you would like to contribute and donate to Washington State's GSA graduating seniors rainbow tassel program, use this LINK.
If you would rather download and mail the form with a check: click here.
Thanks for all the work you have done in making schools safe for ALL students regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. If you do not live in Washington State, but are interested please email us and we'll put you in contact with your local GLSEN chapter. When requesting tassels, allow 2 weeks to process the certificate and tassel.
Unfortunately, this program is for High School Students only--college graduates are not eligible.

Our Certificate will be created (professionally) using the following statement:
On this ___ day of June 2017, we honor [STUDENT’S NAME]
For your participation in your school’s Gay-Straight Alliance as you have completed high school,
For your courageous educational work to reduce anti-LGBT bias and harassment in your school,
For standing up and speaking out to make your school a safer and more respectful place for all,
And for your peaceful contributions to the LGBT civil rights movement for full equality under law.
With pride and best wishes for your educational future…
GLSEN envisions a future in which every child learns to respect and accept all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression.
