GLSEN New Hampshire

Homecoming OUT Youth & Educator Summit

Join GLSEN New Hampshire for a day of learning, networking, and fun at the 2019 Homecoming OUT Youth and Educator Summit & Celebration! Students and educators are invited to Colby-Sawyer College to celebrate the start of the new school year. This year our theme is Intersectionality: Y’all Means Y’all. Workshops, discussions, and panels on a variety of topics including mindfulness in education, activism, inclusive sex education, creating Safe Spaces, and identity document laws will be presented by GLSEN-trained staff and guests from partner organizations. Students will have the opportunity to learn how to become community leaders working to make a change for safer schools for LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. This year our keynote speaker, Chris Erchull, an attorney with GLAD will start the day!

After a day of learning and advocacy, please stay for a Homecoming Celebration! Attendees can look forward to making new friends at our GSA dinner. Topping the evening off will be our Celebration with a DJ and dancing!

Homecoming is a no-cost to you event! Snacks, lunch & dinner are on us! Register online or snail mail the form below. You’ll also receive this year’s GLSEN NH School Year Tour Tee Shirt! Space is limited, so be sure to register soon. Bring your book money. GIbson’s Bookstore will be on hand with a collection of LGBTQ+ themed books!

Every day GLSEN works to ensure that LGBTQ+ students are able to learn and grow in a school environment free from bullying and harassment. Together, we can transform our nation’s K-12 schools into the safe and affirming environment all youth deserve. (*Required information)
